Job description
Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week
About the role
As an Area Manager in Retirement Living you will lead, inspire and engage your team to deliver an outstanding housing management service and a quality personalised care and support service to our residents enabling them to live later life well. You will be accountable for the commercial and financial performance of all the Retirement Living schemes in your area including occupancy levels and operating surplus whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. In addition, you will develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships and be a true brand ambassador for MHA by living our values: respect every person, treating them with dignity; nurture mind body and spirit; and inspire the best in each other.

About you
You will have substantial experience of working in a housing environment where some residents have a need for care. A leader who inspires others, you will have a passion for adult social care. You will motivate your teams to deliver the highest standards of qualitative care which is recognised in the sector and is classified as Good or Outstanding with CQC. We are looking for a confident communicator with strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking ability coupled with a compassionate and resilient nature. You will ideally hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
