If you are thinking that your working life could be so much better with a rewarding and challenging role in an environment that values you, then the South London Legal Partnership (SLLP) could be the place for you.

Providing legal services to the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond, Sutton, Wandsworth and Royal Borough of Kingston, we are able to offer employment opportunities across all aspects of local government legal work.

We are based in South West London and offer a wide range of flexible working options, including hybrid working and compressed hours.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic applicants, keen to develop their skills in a public sector environment. Please do not be put off if you have not worked in local government before – it is your determination to provide a top-class legal service which will matter most.

We have several roles available due to a recent restructure and a determination to provide the best possible legal service for our residents.

We want to recruit a further Advocate within our Social Care and Education team, to join our existing team of 4 Advocates, undertaking advocacy in care proceedings. We are looking for a qualified barrister or solicitor with experience of undertaking multiple day hearings of up to 5 days. We offer the opportunity to work with professional clients, to enhance your knowledge of care proceedings from a local authority perspective and the opportunity to provide training to clients.
