Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual with good customer service attributes and willingness to learn. Our Leisure attendants must be willing to work weekends, including opening and closing the club, We will offer comprehensive training and future development within the fitness industry including apprentice fitness courses.

a) To greet customers in a friendly manner and with a smile.

b) To administer booking using computerised and manual systems.

c) To process all payments accurately.

d) To monitor admissions of unaccompanied children under the age of

8.e) To administer course enrolments.

f) To administer the locker key and membership card system.

g) To carry out any administration work as necessary.

h) To record and administer the lost property system.

i) To restrict access into the Reception area to authorised personnel only.

j) To ensure that the Reception area is kept tidy and presentable at all times.

k) To ensure that all communications memos, diaries are read each day.

l) To ensure that the float management systems are followed.

m) To answer the telephone as per the 3D Leisure standard.

n) To handle all potential membership enquiries as per the 3D Leisure Standard.

o) To assist with any general clerical duties as requested.

p) To cash up till(s) as per the Club’s procedures.

q) To attend staff meetings and provide input into ways of improving and developing the service.

r) To feedback any areas of concern to the Club Manager

s) To ensure presentation and cleanliness of the facilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
