Role Overview & Responsibilities

Situated on the outskirts of Barnsley, the newly refurbished Tankersley Manor Hotel & Spa boasts 98 bedrooms, a spectacular alfresco tipi dining concept, the Brasserie restaurant & bar operation plus numerous function facilities for events and weddings. Located within a 15-minute drive from Sheffield, this fabulous property really is the hotel of choice for weddings & events in South Yorkshire & surrounding areas.

We are looking for enthusiastic & hard working individuals to join our friendly reservations team. We are looking for a passion for customer service, an eye for detail.

You will be required to deal with clients from their initial enquiry through to their stay at the hotel,

Responsibilities include:

• Communicating with potential and repeat guests
• Using the telephone and online booking systems
• Making and assisting with reservations including spa breaks, leisure and business stays
• Contributing towards sales for bedroom occupancy targets
• You must be able to pro-actively identify the customer’s needs, build relationships & deliver customer service with a big smile!

Opera PMS / Opera S&C trained users would be preferable, however not necessary. Friendly personality & a can-do attitude are compulsory.
