Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Butcher

Duties:

• Cut, prepare, and display meat and other meat products for sale.
• Obtain and fulfil customer orders while maintaining high levels of Customer service.
• Prepare the meat processing area and undertake cleaning post processing.
• Operate and maintain all meat processing equipment whilst adhering to health and safety regulations in place.
• Clean all equipment and workspaces at regular intervals and at the end of day.
• Manage, order, and return meat stocks efficiently to minimise wastage.

Salary: £26500 Per Annum working 37.5 hours weekly

Skill, experience, and qualifications required:

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced/apprentice trained Butcher.
• Excellent butchery and knife skills is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in operating meat processing machinery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £26,500.00 per year
