School Counsellor

Etone College, Leicester Road, Nuneaton, CV11 6AA

30 Hours | Term Time Only | Monday to Friday

Pro Rata Salary for Term Time: £25,350

Full Time Equivelent: £29,473

The role:
At Etone College, we want the best for every single child and our School Counsellor is vital in achieving this. You will be supporting pupils with a wide range of issues for example; resolving problems, improving relationships, making choices, coping with changes, gaining insight and understanding and growing as a person. You will also be supporting the work of the Pastoral Team by delivering 1 to 1 counselling sessions with pupils.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, supportive and compassionate individual committed to assisting our pupils and providing a positive learning environment.

Your skillset will include:

· Holding a recognised qualification appropriate for the post such as BACP.

· Accreditation in Counselling Skills/Counselling Studies.

· The ability to communicate effectively in the working relationships and with pupils.
