Role Overview & Responsibilities

Mast Group Ltd. are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join the manufacturing team based in Bootle – Atlantic house. Mast Group Ltd. is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of medical diagnostics products for the diagnosis of infectious disease. Our products are used throughout the UK and worldwide. The job holder will an integral part of the team, ensuring our processes and procedures are adhered to in all they do.

We require a production operative to work alongside other experienced member of the team within a multi-disciplined environment.

THE ROLE

· Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environmentEssential

· To undertake a variety of tasks within the manufacturing area (training will be provided)

· Ability to follow standard operating procedures all times

· Closure of all jobs once completed

· Target driven output for products and customers

· Understand / appreciate ISO 9001 standards and approach

· Working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (days only)

THE PERSON

• Must have previous production operative experience
• Have a proactive approach to work
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment previously an advantage
• Ability to use a PC with MS packages
• Good standard of English and Maths
• Attention to detail is a must
• Willingness to learn and work to improve business efficiency
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Willingness to undertake training to improve skills

In addition to the specified duties the employee is expected to perform additional tasks when reasonably called upon to do so.
