Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're MAMS, a fresh new Arabic street food concept in London, Knightsbridge. We're a small company with a bold mission - to bring clean, fresh and fun ideas to turn the Arabic food industry on its head. Think shawarmas, falafel, manaeesh all presented in a healthy way. Our venue has been designed with an urban theme, and features a stripped back menu focusing on Middle Eastern classics executed with modern precision.

The role:

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, juices and smoothies.
• Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment
• Cleaning service and seating areas
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
• Servicing customers and taking orders
• Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
• Receiving and processing customer payments

We are ideally looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working within a high volume venue
• Have some Barista experience (training will be provided)
• Are passionate about creating fantastic coffees with the ability to advise and recommend to customers
• Are attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of customers and the management team
• Are excellent team players with exceptional communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Experience:

• customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Barista experience: 1 year (required)
