Role Overview & Responsibilities

Join us as a Scrum Master and become a key contributor to the delivery and output of our technology teams, where technological solutions amplify our trading capabilities.

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in how we run and manage technology projects. You will work closely with technology teams to get the best out of all members, providing coaching in the scrum methodology and facilitating fast, iterative innovation loops. The Scrum Master will also act as liaison between the team and other departments as well as external stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Implementing an effective agile methodology for delivery of technology projects across the business.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to Scrum methodology and values
  • Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, and sprint retrospective meetings
  • Help the team to create and maintain a product backlog
  • Ensuring scopes are properly considered and designed by business / technology leads and holding them accountable to good scoping principles
  • Implementing consistent and transparent reporting and communication channels between project teams, technology teams and the wider business
  • Continuous training and development of agile principles and techniques for new and existing staff

General Aspects of the role to include

  • Ensuring processes are documented and consistently followed
  • Maintaining up to date records of work using project boards transparently
  • Communicating throughput and impediments to Business and Technology leads regularly
  • Develop a strong understanding of the technology stack and wider business application
