Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for experienced warehouse operatives /pickers and packers to work at our clients logistics company located in the LS12 area of Leeds

This role has the potential to be a 12 week temp to perm contract for the right candidate. In order to be successful at getting a permanent job after 12 weeks you need to be reliable, driven to hitting KPI targets, be flexible in your approach to work and have a good level of spoken & written English.

Shift: 5 over7 Monday to Friday 7am-3.30pm /1.15pm-9.45pm

Candidates must be able to work both shift patterns either starting at 7am or 1.15pm and Sunday shifts 7am-3.30pm (Rota day off in week when working the Sunday shift)

Your duties will include:

- Processing returns- Eye for detail and accuracy essential.

- Picking single & multiple orders

- Using picking sheets & scanners to pick items

- Packing items ready to go out to customers.

- Working to picking & packing targets above 85%

- Using trolleys & other equipment/machinery safely

Pay grade:

£10.42 per hour Monday to Friday

Overtime paid after 40 hours per week £10.92 per hour

Enhanced pay rate for Sunday working. £12.42 per hour

Work a 6th /7th day pay rate £15.63 per hour in busy periods

The right candidate must be reliable, have a great work ethic ,good time keeping and attendance record and having worked in a similar role previously.
