Role Overview & Responsibilities

Major Recruitment are looking for a HR Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the HR Business Partner for our client based in Watford. The Human Resources Administrator will assist in implementing Strategies & initiatives, including but not limited to recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, HR administration and PLM system coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including identifying staffing needs, creating job descriptions, posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating background checks.
  • Responsible for conducting Inductions for new employees & exit interviews, background checks, verification and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Promote a positive work environment and manage employee relations by providing support and guidance for managers and staff on the company’s policies and procedures, benefits.
  • Assist with HR compliance, including maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS system, monitoring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and generate quarterly report for management on workforce planning.
  • maintaining internal HR portal online (writing blogs, managing teams’ activities, training, wellbeing, recognition program).
  • Managing employee benefits packages such as insurance plans, eyecare etc.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed, such as employee engagement surveys, HR activities, performance management, and talent development programs.
  • Working with external providers on technical skills training and collecting feedback from providers/employees.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in HR laws and regulations, and make recommendations for updates to HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the Sales & Sourcing Manager in maintaining the internal software (PLM System), generate report to support business activities
  • Support Admin and accounting team on ad hoc basis
