Job Title: Manual Test Engineer

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes fueling swift corrective actions, significant cost savings, and fault-free software.
• Work closely with the development and business team to understand requirements to ensure end-to-end quality assurance of software product builds.
• Take a hands-on approach to implement QA strategy right from requirements analysis, test design, estimates, test execution, reporting, escalation.
• Under minimum or no supervision carries out procedures and tests to ensure that information systems and services meet standards and end-user
• Specialize in at least in area like Functional /Performance/ Security
• Test strategy formulation will include decomposing the business and technical requirements into test case scenarios, defining test data requirements, managing test case creation, devising contingencies plans and other preparation activities
• Review design and user documentation, project specifications, and requirements.
• Understand and analyze business and technical requirements
• Execute sanity, smoke, functional, and regression testing.
• Assist in requirement analysis, test design, and test documents.
• Track and report all defects from automation runs
• Help define criteria and KPIs for evaluating test results
• Coordinate a team of testers and testing tasks
• Assist the test team in investigating and resolving problems

Experience and Qualifications (Desirable):

• Minimum experience required 3+ years in testing.
• Should have deep knowledge of functional testing, automation, reporting defects along with root cause, troubleshooting skills.
• Strong experience in the execution of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data in cloud-based solutions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Good knowledge of testing in web & mobile (Android & iOS) applications.
• Good exposure to functional and other forms of manual testing techniques.
• Sound testing experience on web applications.
• Should have deep Knowledge of SQL
• Strong knowledge required of QA concepts and practices.

Salary

The position offers an annual gross salary from GBP 30000 to 40000 depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
