Role Overview & Responsibilities

Macdonald & Company are delighted to be exclusively working with a new private equity group, who are hiring for a Business/Office Manager to join their growing team and assist with all general day to day running of the business and office administration. You will be joining a small team but one with strong experience and variety of property knowledge.

The firm has been set up by two ex-investment management professionals and the fund will be focused and specialising in land. The company is backed by a leading Hegde Fund and will be based in the West End.

Specific Skillset/Experience
  • Strong understanding of both property and finance industries, preferably with at a property based fund (senior, mezzanine or equity)
  • Understanding of the loan documentation process including the suite of documents required to complete a loan for the fund
  • Experience in assisting or running similar type SME fund carrying out daily tasks and more strategic roles for the business
  • Experience in the loan documentation process, liaising and working with external lawyers to ensure the loan is carried out on time
Summary of Role
  • General day to day running of the business and office admin
  • General marketing of the business (managed through third parties)
  • Manage the accounts (through external third parties)
  • General tasks to support the business (diary management, meeting room management)
  • Manage external contracts (marketing, accounts, IT, printer etc)
  • Management of website and online media (through external parties)
  • Prepare and issue Non-Disclosure Agreements with perspective clients
  • Manage the recruitment process (where applicable)
  • Assisting the lawyers and the business in the completion of loans utilising the agreed standardised suite of documents
