It is an exciting time here at M&S Opticians. Due to expansion, we are looking for an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team in Colliers Wood. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping customers select the right frames and lenses, performing eye health checks, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and help people look and feel their best. Although previous experience is desirable, it is not essential as we provide full training in house.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs.
• Provide customers with information on the latest trends in eyewear.
• Maintain inventory of optical products.
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
• Perform eye health checks and hearing screenings.
• Work collaboratively with the team to provide the best customer service.
• Clean and maintain optical equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
