
Flight Crew Training Planner
Role Overview & Responsibilities

Business Aviation Training Solutions, a division of Luxaviation Group is looking for Flight Crew Training Planner to ensure that flight crew training, both in house and/or with contracted training facilities is planned, scheduled, delivered and recorded in compliance with statutory requirements and applicable Operations Manuals Part D.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and book all ground and simulator training events for flight crew.
- Manage any required changes to established bookings, liaising between pilots and training providers as required.
- Track and maintain the validity of crew training documentatio
- Maintain training activity records using Excel, SharePoint, webforms and other applications as directed.
- Produce weekly reports to the Department Manager and NPs as required.
- Establish and maintain a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements for flight crew.
- Liaise with NP Crew Training staff for pilot licence and type rating queries / issues.
- Liaise with all internal Departments and external Training Providers.
- Manage the Local Procedures Manual and update procedures, as required.
- Perform internal audit and quality checks.
- Support external compliance audits.
- Complete daily invoicing tasks.
- Support the Manager in completing training revenue forecasts and other budgetary planning tasks.
- Administer the Groupβs e-learning system for crew, creating accounts, responding to queries and ensuring the system is operational at all times.
- Complete ad hoc projects and tasks when assigned by the Manager.
Person Specification
The following qualifications, experience and skills are essential:
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel & SharePoint
- Exemplary work ethic and innate proactive nature
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate on all levels with internal staff and departments and external clients, such as Training Providers
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Confident and professional approach
- Strong and well developed presentation skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
The following qualifications, experience and knowledge are desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience using SalesForce
- EASA Flight Crew Training Regulation and Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
