Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Working within our brand new warehouse to ensure that all import, export, pallet network, groupage, logistics and storage goods are received, stored and despatched in a safe, accurate and efficient way.

Main responsibilities

• Working to schedules to ensure customers’ goods are picked ready for delivery with the ability to adapt should the need arise
• Ensure accuracy when loading vehicles, maintaining safe load standards
• Load and unload vehicles in a safe manner using manual handling or forklift equipment
• Picking and put away of pallets in racking
• Ensuring all goods are loaded/unloaded in a timely manner.
• Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures.
• Using handheld scanners to record stock movements
• To adhere to company policies relating to the movement of goods/manual handling.
• To maintain excellent health and safety practices.
• Maintaining warehouse hygiene when required.

Person specification

Available/flexible for rotating shifts

Previous warehouse experience essential (2 years )

VNA essential (1 year)

FLT counterbalance (1 year)

Good communication skills/written and verbal.

Lives locally to Coleshill.

Working Hours and Package

This would be a full-time role.

Working hours 06:00 to 15:00hrs or 13:00 to 22:00hrs Monday to Friday.

Clean and new warehouse environment

Accredited ITSARR licences

20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• VNA license (required)
• Counter balance license (required)
