Role Overview & Responsibilities

Lliswerry Pharmacy has an exciting vacancy for a pharmacy delivery driver.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A FULL AND CLEAN DRIVING LICENSE AND BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUEL VAN WITH CONFIDENCE.

This role is on a two week rota, 9 hours per week.

Week one: 9am to 1pm Thursday, Friday 1pm to 6pm

Week two: 1pm to 6pm Thursday, Friday 9am to 1pm

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Your role includes:

• collecting prescriptions from local GP surgeries and engaging with their staff.
• Ensuring the safe, effective and efficient delivery of medicines to the local community.
• Complying with legal and professional requirements.

You will be the face of the business so the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately and be able to build rapport with both colleagues and patients.

Experience:

• delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
• driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving License (required)
