Care Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Domiciliary Care Assistants required across all of our branches in Yorkshire & Humber. We are an established and award winning care provider operating 10 branches across the Yorkshire area. Areas we are in as follows:

- Barnsley

- Halifax

- Huddersfield

- Hull & West Hull Villages (Beverley, Willerby, Anlaby, Gilberdyke, South Cave, North Cave)

- Selby

- Sheffield

- Leeds

- Rotherham

- Wakefield

- Worksop/Nottingham

Please apply if you live in any of these areas and are looking for care work in the community (supporting people in their own homes) and your application will be directed to your nearest branch where you will be working.

Duties include:

- Support with personal care (showering/bathing/washing/continence care)

- Meal Prep

- Medication administration

- Social support (supporting clients to access activities in their community)

- Light housework duties

- Support with mobility

- General support of the elderly/infirm in line with the persons care plan

We value our care workers and support is offered by your local branch office team. You will be able to work flexibly to meet your clients needs, which may involve some evening and weekend work according to the clients needs in your area.

As this involves going from home to home, supporting clients in their own homes, being able to drive and having access to a vehicle is the only essential criteria, alongside having a friendly, caring and honest disposition.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-45 per week

Salary: £11.90 per hour
