(Part-time / WEEKENDS ONLY) Experienced Waiter/Waitress

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Welcome to Los Pampas!
Los Pampas is a family-run Brazilian restaurant based in Halifax Town Centre on the Plaza, right in between Nandos and the Vue Cinema.
We are looking for someone to be an experienced Server or Bartender who can work flexible hours, including weekends.

So what exactly is your role as a Server?

• Serving customers with your best ability, paying attention to their needs and checking on them to see if they need anything.
• Communicating with your peers, including your supervisors, kitchen staff and other waiters/bartenders.
• Taking payments from customers; card and cash.
• Answering any questions or queries from customers about the menu, food and drinks.
• Cleaning tables.
• Engaging with customers, being sociable and friendly.

What experience do we require?

• Experience in customer service or hospitality is required. We need people who pay attention to detail, are focused, fast and work well under pressure in fast paced environments. Preferably we would like people 18 or over as we would like flexible hours and maturity, however it is not essential.
• Having a good idea of food and hospitality standards, i.e knowing how to take care of your customers.
• Perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Being able to listen to orders.
• Being able to be a friendly and sociable character who can make customers happy.
• You must be available on weekends/ holidays, all during unsocial hours (working hours start from 11:30am to 10/11pm so you must be availiable at some point during these hours)
• Avaliability on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Eve is essential.
