Nursery Practitioner Part time

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Little Ripley Day Nurseries seeks an enthusiastic nursery practitioner, qualified to Level 2 or above, to join our friendly and experienced team.

Salary and Benefits

• Salaries are negotiable, depending on age and experience.
• Routine salary reviews and opportunity for in house promotion / career progression.
• 28 days of annual leave (pro rata) as a minimum, including bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday with opportunity for increased annual leave based on positive attendance and increasing service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children are cared for in a happy, secure and stimulating environment.
• Have knowledge, understanding and confidence in keeping children safe and implement Little Ripley’s safeguarding procedures appropriately

Schedule

• Part Time : Monday & Tuesday - 8 Hours per day - 16 Hours

Our Nurseries

• Little Ripley now consists of a group of fifteen nurseries in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Great Barr and Kingstanding areas.
• All nurseries Ofsted rated as Outstanding or Good.
• Open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
• We are open all year round (52 weeks) and are closed on Bank Holidays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary: Up to £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
• Overtime

Experience:

• Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Childcare NVQ Level 2 or above (preferred)
