Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Title: Receptionist (Job Share)

Salary: £21,223.00 to £26,215.00 per annum (pro-rata), dependent on skills and experience

Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 5pm with expectation to work full time to cover job share partner’s absence

The Role

Link is looking for a Receptionist to provide reception services to Link’s Falkirk office which includes processing all incoming mail in an efficient and professional manner, ensuring all mail is distributed securely to the appropriate person/department and to print off and post out any incoming requests from departments. In addition, the postholder will update cases on Advice Pro with incoming mail for the Advice Services team.

As well as maintaining the security and appearance of the reception area, the successful candidate will receive visitors and follow procedures for signing in to maintain the security and safety of visitors and staff.

The role also includes providing administrative services to Link Housing Core team and the Falkirk Office as well as administering the Signing In App, ensuring updates are carried out when required and phones are kept charged.

About You

You will have knowledge and commitment to good customer care and equal opportunities and proven experience of working in a reception or front-line role.

Proven experience of establishing and maintaining administrative systems, both manual and computer based is required for this position.

This role requires extensive experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel at a basic level as well as experience of using Microsoft Outlook at an intermediate level including diary management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and use your own initiative is essential for this role.
