Hair and Makeup Artist

Contract: Maternity cover (9-12 months fixed term)

Location: Liverpool

At Hollyoaks we are searching for highly skilled and experienced Hair and Makeup Artists to cover a period of maternity leave.

As a Hair and Makeup artist on Hollyoaks you will be confident and efficient in the application of makeup for all skin tones; from general day to day looks to glamour and special effects. It is essential that you have a minimum of level 3 hairdressing qualification and are confident with cutting and styling all hair types. We need someone with experience and and good understanding of different hair textures including Afro-Caribbean hair, curls, locs, and be confident with braiding. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines – time is of the essence in a very busy makeup room.

Our ideal candidate will have a media makeup qualification and experience working on TV sets, but we will consider applications from strong Hair and Makeup Artists without TV experience so please don’t hesitate to apply if you think you have what it takes!

Calling all hairdressers!

We are also really interested to hear from talented and experienced fully qualified hairdressers. As a hairdresser on Hollyoaks you will need to be creative, confident and efficient in cutting and styling all hair types. We need someone with a minimum of level 3 hairdressing qualification and solid salon experience as a fully qualified hairdresser.
