Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Adviser to join our busy payroll team within Human Resources. Assisting the Payroll Manager in the provision of an effective payroll and defined benefit pensions administration service, you will provide guidance and advice on organisational and statutory payroll and pensions regulations and oversee the day to day work of our Payroll and Pensions Administrators.


The successful candidate will have a strong payroll background as well as practical knowledge and experience of defined benefit pension schemes administration. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organised, and have a keen eye for detail, taking a helpful and flexible approach to dealing with complex payroll/ pension queries from a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong IT and Excel skills and good working knowledge of payroll systems. Practical experience of Midland HR iTrent in a large organisation is a distinct advantage. Ideally, you’ll have an accounting or payroll qualification.
