About the Job
Are you interested in supporting young adults as a Youth Support Worker? Are you in search of an outstanding school that you can work alongside and contribute to their mission? We are now looking for caring support staff for students aged 16-25 for one of our colleges.
About the role:
- To foster a nurturing environment that encourages the studentβs growth.
- To offer personalized teaching and learning in an SEN environment.
- To enable creative ways of communicating concepts to students.
- To support the class teacher and assist students in 1:1 and in small groups.
About the school:
- Supports young people (16- 25) with complex needs.
- Offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities.
- A dedicated and friendly team of staff.
Requirements:
- Available to work 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
- Previous experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs.
- Available immediately.
- Happy to apply for or already have an enhanced DBS.
