Band 2 Healthcare Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We currently have vacancies for experienced Band 2 HCA o undertake temporary assignments with one of our NHS trust clients based in Durham and Cleveland Areas.

As a healthcare assistant you will have a vital role in delivering hands-on care to patients including:

• Understanding and recording a patient’s temperature, breathing, pulse and weight
• Supporting patients to eat and serving their meals
• Helping patients wash and dress
• Taking patients to the toilet
• Spending time talking to patients, answering their questions as far as possible and making sure they are comfortable
• Helping patients to get out of bed and move around
• Supporting patients to change position in bed

What is required:

• Right to work in the UK
• 6 months minimun experience NHS hospital setting
• Full immunisation history (Fit to work)
• New DBS (will be provided by the company for FREE)
• Practical and Theory Mandatory Training
• 2 x Clinical References • Updated CV

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £10.50-£14.50 per hour
