JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Housekeeper

REPORTING TO: Housekeeping Manager

SUMMARY OF ROLE: To maintain club premises to an excellent standard of cleanliness; to clean all areas of the gym premises, including the restaurant, club room, gym, spa, changing rooms and kitchen & Ives St offices

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• To undertake cleaning tasks to an excellent standard and as instructed by Housekeeping Supervisor.
• To inform your supervisor of all matters of importance and any matters likely to affect duties
• To follow cleaning protocol, and use cleaning materials economically and correctly, informing the Housekeeping Supervisor when stocks are low.
• To carry out regular checks to cleaning equipment and report any faults to the Housekeeping Supervisor or the Maintenance Team.
• Carry out general cleaning as and when necessary to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, and emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers.
• Ensuring that all kitchen and back of house areas are kept clean and all equipment within the kitchen area is cleaned in accordance with the cleaning schedule
• Ensure the correct PPE is in place and guidelines are adhered to
• To undertake non-routine cleaning tasks as instructed. All Housekeepers are required to contribute to major cleaning tasks during the school holiday period.
• To follow KX Gym guidelines and policies at all times (i.e.: Health and Safety Policy).
• To attend all required health and safety training courses as determined by KX Management.
• To undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required.
• Ability to read and follow signs and written instruction.
• Replenishing & restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Folding towels – collection of dirty towels from drop bins

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: From £10.81 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, SW3 3AL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
