Guest House - Housekeeper needed

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Join a small but fast-paced growing family business that is currently involved in the hospitality sector in York. We need a motivated, semi-OCD housekeeper who can help us 5 days a week inc. weekends with 2 days off at a Guesthouse we own. Role will include:

Housekeeping

Housekeeper for a small boutique guesthouse located near the Groves in York.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing rooms following check-out of guests (changing of linens, cleaning, refreshing the room)

2. Cleaning communal areas and ensuring they are presentable

This role would be ideal for a student at the nearby university or a mum who is seeking work during school hours.

Looking for someone local that lives in York (ideally in the Groves near York Saint John university) or has a car.

Experience required in order to apply:

• Previous housekeeping - ESSENTIAL

Role is based on-site in York:

• Work Hours (typically from 10:30am - 3pm ranging on number of bookings)
• 8-16hrs per week (we can guarantee minimum hours but also offer flexibility)
• 5 days a week inc weekends with 2 days off each week (exact days to be mutually agreed)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week

Salary: £10.50 per hour
