Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to our ever-growing popularity, we are looking to recruit people with a positive, can-do attitude to join our happy teams at our breakfast and after-school clubs, based in Southwater & North Horsham. If you think you may enjoy working with children and want to help them to develop their social skills, we would love to hear from you!

We view your life skills and attitude as important as any qualifications and unlike in some other childcare, you won’t get bogged down in paperwork! Being able to easily chat to children is a must - we can support you to develop the skills you will need to run group games and activities.

Kids Like Us is a family run business, providing childcare for 16 years in Southwater and Horsham. We provide safe and inclusive play with plenty of opportunities for making friends and for the children to be themselves. We would love to hear from you if you are able to help us achieve this and bring to life the Kids Like Us ethos.

With start dates between now and September you will need to be available to work from 7.30am until 9am and 2.30 until 6.15 during school term-time. Extra hours are available for some breakfast sessions and in our holiday club, which runs over 5 weeks each year. We offer competitive rates of pay and we are a sociable bunch ranging in age from 18 to much older (!) and are pleased to host several team socials throughout the year.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-25 per week

Salary: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
