Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our team of forensic scientists are experienced in the interpretation and reporting of a wide range of evidence types in support of criminal investigations.

Position:

The successful candidate will work to aid the investigation of crimes committed contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

The main responsibilities are to assist other team members with:

  • The analysis of seized materials to identify and quantify controlled substances;
  • The identification and estimated yield potential of plants recovered from cultivation scenes;
  • The comparison of drug preparations and packaging materials;

In addition to the routine work for law enforcement agencies, there may also be involvement in work commissioned by defence solicitors or as part of on-going projects.
