Retail Sales Assistant - Full Time - Fishing Tackle

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are a fishing tackle retail business seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team based at our store on Hawkhurst Fish Farm. We are looking for an individual who is highly self motivated and able to offer first class customer service. Suitable candidates would have good communication skills, take pride in the presentation of the store and be competent on a computer.

Responsibilities Include:

• Meet and greet customers around the shop
• Replenish stock onto the shelves
• Maintain a clean and tidy shop
• Process customers transactions using our POS system
• Answering phone calls
• Putting deliveries away
• Picking and packing online orders

Skills:

• Good coarse fishing knowledge and experience
• Good verbal communication
• Self motivated, using own initiative to ensure the store is well maintained
• Attention to detail, taking pride in tasks completed
• Good IT skills

Hours:

• Full time - 45 hours per week (5 days)
• Must be able to work weekends
• 9 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm (8:00pm on Thursday)
• A total of 28 days paid annual leave
