Housekeeper/Assistant Part-Time

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a trustworthy and well-organised housekeeper on a part-time basis (5 hours 5 days per week) to help with the day to day running of a household that consists of one man and his dog.

Being a dog lover is essential to be successful in this role.

Please note that this is NOT a live-in position and requires daily to travel to Portishead, Bristol, so being local to this area is a must. This is an employed position, so no agencies, please.

You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to)

• All housekeeping duties
• Food Shopping
• Cooking to suit an allergy diet (to be discussed in detail at the interview stage)
• Cleaning
• Laundry
• General help e.g. (post office runs/taking the car to the garage)
• This role may also involve simple administration tasks, such as sending letters.
• Dog sitting when required (not actually sitting on the dog, this is highly frowned upon)
• Dog walking (if and when required)

We are looking for

Someone who has a great sense of humour, who is highly organised and can follow their own initiative. Previous experience would be advantageous, but not essential.

For us, character is everything - we need someone who is dedicated and passionate about what they do, and know how important their role is.

• A basic salary £16,000.00 per year.
