CAD Design Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a mechanical designer and CAD draughtsman to assist with the on-going design and implementation of mechanical installations throughout the UK.

You will be tasked with:
- Undertaking preliminary designs for quotation to clients.
- Detailed system design for construction.
- On going design and advice throughout the project life
- Assistance in the management of more technically in depth projects.

Experience in the following mechanical disciplines is essential:
- Process air distribution
- Piped systems
- Pumped circuits
- Structural steel
- General construction

Experience using the following CAD packages is required:
- Autodesk Inventor
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk Advance Steel

We operate multiple projects at any one time, so you would be expected to cross over on multiple projects during a normal shift. Projects can vary in length from (time on site) 2 days through to 12 months.

Driving to and from sites will be required from time to time to survey systems.

You will also be required to conduct project and general admin at times as required to assist in the running of the company and projects

Salary subject to experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
