Role Overview & Responsibilities

Would you like to join a team of award-winning firm specialist Chartered Tax Advisors and Accountants, with a presence in Peterborough and Dubai?

With JSM just being 3 and a half years old, you will play a pivotal part in the firms next phase of growth, therefore commitment and the desire to succeed are essential. You will want to be part of something great and be looking to make a positive impact in everything you do.

This is a remote job - you can be based anywhere in the world.

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting practice, and will be able to hit the ground running, having a direct impact on the firm from day 1.

You will be at least AAT Level 4 or ACCA/ACA qualified. Future training programmes are encouraged such as CTA.

You will be located in a business hub which has a free gym, hair salon, nursery, café, and plenty of parking.

What will you receive by working with JSM:

• Salary range is between £35,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE
• 33 days holiday including bank holidays
• Profit share scheme (expected circa £20,000 pa)
• Completely remote working

You should have the following attributes:

• 3 Years+ accounting experience in an accounting practice
• Detailed understanding of accounting practices
• Experience in reviewing junior members’ work
• Ability to communicate well with clients
• Be able to advise owner managed businesses with basic tax planning
• Experience with Xero
