Live in Carer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable self-employed Live-In Carer to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own home. As a Live-In Carer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Administering medication as prescribed by the client's healthcare professional
• Preparing meals and ensuring the client has adequate nutrition and hydration
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Monitoring and managing any health conditions or concerns
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client
• Providing companionship and emotional support to the client
• Completing daily reports and maintaining accurate records of care provided
• Communicating regularly with the client's healthcare team and family members

Requirements:

• Experience in care-giving or a related field
• A compassionate and patient nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexibility to work varied hours and schedules
• Must be willing to provide live-in care for extended periods of time
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check
