We are looking for a talented Innovation Designer to join our Industrial Design & Innovation team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will focus on solving everyday consumer problems with disruptive design solutions. Working across multiple product categories you will develop highly inventive, insight-led designs that truly resonate with users

What you will be doing:

• Solving everyday problems with bold, inventive, big ideas
• Undertaking 'deep-dive' research to identify consumer problems
• Challenging the ordinary to create new disruptive product ideas
• Building test rigs and prototypes to prove out design theories and ideas
• Creating a commercially feasible product vision

What we need from you:

• An undergraduate (or masters) degree in Industrial Design or Product Design
• Strong industrial design skills with a proven track record of success
• A portfolio showing an inventive nature turning ideas into commercially viable products
• Ability to effectively manage time whilst working to tight critical paths on multiple projects
• A natural flair to clearly communicate ideas to senior teams
• A good understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes
• Excellent knowledge of design applications such as, Adobe CS, Solidworks and KeyShot
• A creative thought process with a self-motivated drive to create ‘big ideas’
• An entrepreneurial hands-on approach
• Adaptable, reliable character with the ability to easily engage with others
• The ability to challenge conventional thinking, whilst keeping ideas commercial
