Trainee Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position available for a Trainee or Qualified Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser for 32 hours+ a week at our branch in Hengrove, Bristol. Days are start with any four; Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am -1pm. The branch is fully established and has excellent, friendly team to support anyone wishing to start a new career or in different environment.

Pharmacy Experience and/or previous retail experience is preferred but full training will be provided. Must be well presented, cheerful, well-mannered and punctual. You will need to have good IT skills, and have good organisational and time management skills. You will need to meet deadlines in terms of study. A full nationally recognised training package will be paid for and provided by the company.

Duties include assisting patients with product queries, sales and till use, receiving, unpacking and putting away orders, merchandising, handing out prescription to patients, answering telephone queries, assisting the pharmacy team, dispensing medicines, along with studying and training. You will be expected to learn quickly on the job, and make notes.

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
