Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position available for a Pharmacy Dispenser / Trainee for 24-40 hours a week at our branch in Creech St. Michael, Taunton. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am -1pm. The branch is fully established and has excellent, friendly team to support anyone wishing to start a new career or in different environment.

Pharmacy Experience and/or previous retail experience is preferred but full training will be provided. Must be well presented, cheerful, well-mannered and punctual. You will need to have good IT skills, and have good organisational and time management skills. You will need to meet deadlines in terms of study. A full nationally recognised training package will be paid for and provided by the company.

Duties include receiving, unpacking and putting away orders, greeting and receiving patients, prescription filing, serving customers, cleaning, merchandising, stock control, using a till, taking and placing orders, handing out prescription to patients, assisting the pharmacy team, along with studying and training. You will be expected to learn quickly on the job, and make notes.

Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
