Role Overview & Responsibilities

John Fox Plant Ltd is the UK's leading excavator attachment specialist.

A vacancy has become available to fill the role of full time hydraulic attachment fitter to work out of our depot at Hawarden.

THE SUCCESSFULL CANDIDATE

You must have a full UK driving licence.

You must be a self-motivated, organised and hardworking individual who is a quick learner.

You must enjoy being out on the road and have the ability to work on your own initiative and be familiar with various tooling (spanners, air guns, torque multiplier's etc.). Training will be given.

THE POSITION

Driving our modern fleet of vehicles across the UK, you will be required to deliver and fit hydraulic attachments which include rock breakers, augers, plate compactors and scrap shears to name a few.

You will also be required to attend on-site breakdowns, prepare hydraulic attachments for hire and carry out repairs to customers attachments in our fully equipped workshops.

Previous experience in a plant, agricultural, mechanical or hydraulic role is preferred. However, full in-house training will be provided.

Cat C1 or Cat C licence will be advantageous.

This is a full time, permanent position subject to satisfactory 6 month probationary period.

HOURS OF WORK

8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

8am - 12pm Every other Saturday

You will be expected to work overtime to suit the busy work load and customers requirements.

SALARY

Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
