HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Joda Freight are a general haulage company with a fleet of over 60 vehicles and 3 warehouses. The company has a proud history that spans over 30 years and after a recent management buy out is preparing for growth, and is for the reason we are recruiting a Class 1 night driver.

. Mon – Fri starting at 18:00

· Hours 8 - 12 hours per night depending on allocation which rotates weekly

· Weekly Pay

· Employee of the Month

· Permanent Position

· Onsite Moffett Training and Licensing available

Role and Responsibilities of our HGV Driver Night Driver:

• Trunking work
• Night shift return to base every day
• Ensure load security at all time
• Follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company's procedures
• Demonstrate an effective working relationship with colleagues and our clients/customers, showing a pro-active approach to resolving potential issues
• Act as a Company's Ambassador by maintaining a customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Qualifications and Education Requirements of our HGV Class 1 Night Driver:

• Valid (C+E) licence and Tacho card
• Up-to-date CPC
• Good understanding of UK geography
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Preferred Qualities and Skills of our HGV Class 1 Night Driver:

• A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work well under pressure
• A team player approach
