Gangs- Lead Hand, Skilled Op, General Op- in Durham

JN Bentley employ 1500 people and we have a turnover currently of £300 million. Our workforce is due to increase by 25% over the next 12 months.

JN Bentley are recruiting in Durham.

We are looking for ready-made gangs and individuals to form gangs to join our growing teams. You will need to have a positive attitude to work and Health & Safety, with experience of general civil work, concreting and pipe laying.

• As a Leadhand/ Ganger you will take overall responsibility of the gang. As the most experienced member of the team, you will be leading, instructing, and mentoring the other members.

• As a Skilled Operative you will be the number 2 in the gang. You will take charge when required and lead other operatives in completing tasks. You must have suitable experience of all aspects of the work we do.

• As a General Operative you will need to be a multi skilled individual with good experience in a wide range of civil engineering aspects.

We are looking for you to have as a minimum:

• Current CSCS Card

• Current CPCS/ NOCN Plant Card

Depending on the roles we would expect additional qualifications, however we also offer development and progression within the company.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
