Quality Inspector

Our Client based in the Outskirts of the Fareham area are looking to add a skilled Quality Inspector to their team. The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection, with a strong attention to detail. The company can offer a very competitive package and is open to a trainee looking to build a career in inspection or a Time served Quality Inspector. Working in a variety of industries our client supports customers within challenging sectors offering bespoke solutions. The ideal candidate will have CMM Programming experience, however, for the right candidate there will also be opportunities to learn CMM programming.

Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• 1st off, last off inspection
• FAIRS Creation
• Working with hand held measuring devices
• Knowledge of CMM would be a bonus
• Calibration
• Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications
• Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines
• Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team
• Recording of all relevant information for audit purposes.

Quality Inspector Benefits and salary

• Days based role 7:30am-4pm Monday to Thursday & an early finish Friday
• CIRCA £15.00-£20.00 per hour
• Overtime opportunities
