Role Overview & Responsibilities

JB Foods (Scotland) Ltd JB Foods was Established in 1963 and has grown steadily to become Scotland’s leading independent foodservice operator, we have an extensive product portfolio covering frozen, grocery, non-food, chilled and fresh meat products. A huge part of our success is due to our team, which we are now looking to grow. We are looking for dynamic, friendly and conscientious class 2 multi drop delivery drivers to join our busy distribution department. As a driver you will be accurately delivering an average of 30 of our customers’ orders daily, on temperature-controlled vehicles. You will be able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers alike. We would welcome newly qualified class 2 drivers.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: - Accurate picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders - Collecting monies - Maintaining product temperatures - Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA - Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.

To be considered for the team you must have:

· Class 2 Licence

· Minimum 1 year driving experience

· Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

· Digital Tachograph

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Good understanding of the English language

· Excellent organisational skills

· Honest, hardworking and reliable

· Ability to complete paperwork in a professional manner

· Physically fit

· The ability to be flexible to meet the varying demands of your customers
