Role Overview & Responsibilities

J. Browns Craft Butchers is the jewel in the crown of our food wholesale unit based in Loanhead, Edinburgh. We have a passion for offering excellence in fresh craft butchery to our wide range of catering customers. After investing over £500k in our purpose-built unit in the last year alone, we are expanding the team.

We are looking for an experienced butcher to join us, if you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and If knife skills and breaking down beef, lamb and pork from carcass come as second nature we want to hear from you.

As a family business that has been operating for almost 60 years, we pride ourselves on our well-established relationships with customers and offering a bespoke butchery service, tailored to their needs.

In addition to a competitive hourly rate we also offer a commission package, staff discounts on our range of products including our very own J Browns Craft Butchery, along with both part-time and full time-flexible working.

Salary: Subject to experience up to £13.49 per hour

Hours: Part-time & full time opportunities, split shifts and flexible working offered
