Marketing Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a creative, enthusiastic Marketing Assistant. This role is ideal for a graduate to join a growing marketing department and develop their career.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Group General Manager to create engaging marketing campaigns for several hospitality venues across Belfast including The Crafty Vintner Wine Merchant & Tasting Room, The Bowery, The Deer’s Head, Angel And Two Bibles, Robert Stewart’s, Queen’s Café Bar and The Library.

Responsibilities

• Support the Marketing team, Group General Manager and Venue Managers with the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns for all venues
• Creation of social media content for all venues including scheduling posts, management of social media ad campaigns and responding to general enquiries
• Assist in the organisation and coordination of events and promotional activity
• Assist with managing design and print requirements for all marketing collateral including briefing graphic designers, copywriting, proofing
• Ensuring that all venue websites and online profiles have relevant up to date information including events, promotions, menus and blog posts
• Execute email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp including copywriting and design and management of databases
• Providing administrative support to the Marketing team e.g. product sourcing and liaising with venue managers with multiple requests

Essential Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline
• Interest in social media (particularly Instagram and TikTok)
• Knowledge of Digital Marketing tools
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Full drivers’ licence with access to own vehicle

Desirable

• 1 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge/experience of the NI Hospitality or Drinks Industry
• Experience in managing social media channels
• Excellent proof reading and copywriting skills

Please note, this role is office based. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (with flexible start/finish times). This post could involve some occasional evening or weekend work for special events and promotions throughout the year. Salary dependent on experience.
