Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Company

Established for more than 75-years, Jacksons is still a family run business with a reputation for supplying market leading fences and gates, all backed by our 25-year guarantee. Our clients range from home owners buying fencing for their gardens to Industry and High Security establishments, protecting facilities and equipment. We currently seek a hard working professional to join and support our timber assembly team.

The Role

Involved in the assembly of timber components, you will be using machinery, (subject to training and experience) jigs and pneumatic hand tools, to manufacture high quality garden products. Previous experience within a manufacturing or any related production environment would be ideal Experience is preferred and training will be given but the primary quality we are looking for is someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and has a positive attitude towards their work. This is a manual position that involves some reasonable lifting and repetitive work.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Working within a fast-paced workshop
• Using various machinery
• Labour and manual handling
• Building and finishing various high quality timber products

Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5:45pm. - (Friday- 8am - 4.15pm)

Due to our remote location, your own transport and driving licence is necessary.
