Seasonal Plant Nursery Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Tasks to include assisting in all activities including but not limited to the following:

· Unpacking of deliveries of hardy nursery stock

· Packing of orders

· Moving of stock including trees

· General stock maintenance

· Potting of production stock

· Weeding

· Watering and general nursery housekeeping

The applicant will need to be a fast worker with a keen attention to detail, desire to learn, interested in plants (ideally with previous experience) and happy to work in all weathers. This can be hard, repetitive, manual work.

Unfortunately we can’t accept applicants from anyone aged under 18 years of age. Seasonal requirement potentially required until October 2023 for the right candidates with the potential for a permanent position.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
