Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are offering a part-time position 2-3 days a week (Wednesday to Friday) for an experienced graphic/print production role in our small & friendly awards business, www.jctrophies.com. The job role would suit a freelance designer who is looking to blend freelance work with a permanent part-time position.

We require an experienced graphic designer to create artwork proofs, design logo's, design new products vector artwork and create digital media for website/social media. In addition the role will require you to operate 2 print machines - a uv print process and a vinyl print machine. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of proofing artwork through to printing the end product - the role will offer the opportunity to learn new technologies as we invest in more print processes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A passion for design and a strong attention to detail
• An eagerness to experience all aspects of design, print and digital
• To be excited at the prospect of getting stuck into design and artwork projects and a busy working environment
• Open to learning new technologies and skills as the business invests in new print processes
• To be skilled in photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator - essential
• To be a confident communicator and be happy to liaise with in-house teams
• Experience of operating print machines desirable
• A positive and friendly attitude!

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-18 per week

Salary: £10.75 per hour

Education:

• A-Level or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 3 years (required)
