Butchery Store Manager

J.B Penman Butchers are looking to recruit a retail butchery manager for our new shop opening in Anstruther, Fife.

This is a great opportunity to be at the fore front of our new and exciting venture within the business.

This position is only suited to candidates who work hard & well on their own or part of a small team. Cope well under pressure in a sometimes fast paced environment. Has experience in a retail butcher setting. Has a real passion for meats and food and will be committed and enthusiastic about this new job role. Good knowledge on traditional and modern cuts, setting up a counter display and designing and preparing oven ready/ value added products.

Jobs include but are not limited too.

- Opening and closing shop.

- Setting up counter display.

- Ensuring that work areas are kept clean to a high standard.

- Ensuring constant and smooth running of store.

- Managing day to day operations.

- Cash handling.

- Delivering outstanding customer service meeting customer demands & expectations contently.

- Excellent attendance & timekeeping

- Experience in butchery/meat cutting (full boning out experience not essential) preferably within a retail environment.

- Keep up-to-date with any paperwork needed.

Salary.

- Mon 8am-5pm

- Tues 8am-5pm

- Wed Closed

- Thurs 8am-5pm

- Fri 8am-5pm

- Sat 8am-5pm

- Sun Closed (45 hour week)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
