Role Overview & Responsibilities

Are you a dog lover who enjoys spending time outdoors? Do you have a passion for learning and helping dogs and owners live happier lives? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team!

We are a small business that offers dog walking and training services to clients in our area. We are looking for a part time dog walker who can join our friendly and professional team.

As a dog walker, you will be responsible for:

• Picking up and dropping off dogs from their homes using your own vehicle
• Walking dogs in groups or individually at our private field and in all weather conditions
• Providing games based training to dogs during walks to improve their behaviour and skills
• Following our safety and welfare policies and procedures
• Communicating with clients and colleagues in a courteous and respectful manner

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A full clean driving license and a reliable vehicle
• A flexible schedule and availability to work either one or two days a week from 9:30 to 14:30, or Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 13:00 (these times can be adjusted for the right person)
• A love for all dogs regardless of their size or temperament
• A patient, kind, compassionate, and optimistic attitude
• A willingness to learn and grow with us

Ideally, you should also have:

• At least two years of experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications
• A good understanding of dog behaviour
• A desire to always do your best and improve

Salary: minimum wage plus mileage. With the option for a performance bonus.
