IT Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

ITagency is delighted to be working with a UK-based specialist supplier of ceramic tiles and adhesives. Our client operates across 85 branches, 5 trading distribution hubs and has over 500 members of staff around the UK.

We are working with them to recruit an IT Support Assistant to ensure that the company’s IT infrastructure supports business goals as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will report to the IT Manager and support the daily running of IT infrastructure work as well as BAU.

Our client is looking to implement modern systems and processes and grow the business organically. You will be working to implement new strategic and tactical initiatives to meet identified needs of the new systems or upgrades to existing systems.

The role will see you working closely with the IT Manager to oversee IT projects and upgrades through the whole project lifecycle. This will include establishing and maintaining partnerships with hardware, software and service providers as well as outsourced technical teams.

For this role, you will ideally have two years’ experience working in an IT support or implementation role.

Previous IT support experience within the retail sector would be beneficial but not required.
